- ARAmber-Leigh RitterSep 18, 20263.0I usually drop off packages here via staff scanning my QR code & putting the new label over the old one if I am reusing a package. Today I came in like normal with my packages with the QR code ready. A staff woman at the counter to the side did not greet me & immediately said I could drop them off if they’re pre-paid which I said I can’t due to the QR code & needing the label. She then said I have to peel off the old labels (they are stickers so I could not without ripping the package). I have never been asked to do that before. She seemed bothered & was direct (could just be the way she speaks as everyone is different) but definitely not the normal kind customer service. I don’t know, it was a quick interaction but she put a bad taste in my mouth immediately due to her directness without kindness. I sat down to attempt to peel the sticker off but couldn’t & then got back in line for a very kind lady to help me & put the new label over the old one (as per usual) & said no problem at all! The woman who directed me to take off the old stickers was rude-toned & on the phone via airpod. She didn’t have the interact with me at all since my packages were accepted & she was not at the counter servicing customers. I will assume she’s having a bad day but it wasn’t the normal friendly service of the staff there & made me feel bad for something that didn’t even need to be done. I hope she has better days! All the best.

What truly sets them apart is their extended weekend hours—staying open until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays is a massive convenience compared to most other post offices in the area.
