  Horrible customer service and store management treat their staff horribly. I am a school educator and have been shopping at Springfield Staples store for many years. After seeing the today news about an employee’s discrimination complaint being disregarded and not addressed because the employee complained about a management employee, it is very concerning about how management at Staples is treating employees from our community, I am extremely disappointed. Last week, I was at the store when I overheard a conversation between a store employee at the print department and another customer, they were talking negatively about the store manager. The female employee was complaining about the manager neglecting her complaints and feeling unsupported. She also mentioned that she felt profiled as an African American woman. Every employee deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness, and discrimination complaints should be taken seriously. Staples should not expect to profit from our community while the people from our community who work for them complaints and concerns are being ignored. This explains why each time I visit this Staples store, it has new employees each week and so many have left the job over the past month’s. As a Black educator and female Activist, I will no longer shop at this staples location. I will be sharing my concerns with fellow educators and members of the community so they can learn about this. Staples will no longer be able to hide this from our community. Our community workers deserve better.

  Needed an office chair and was assisted by Mr. Maurice. This young gentleman knows his stuff!!!! Knowledgeable, patient, courteous and friendly!!!!!Customer service EXCEPTIONAL!!!! My chair was assembled and ready as quoted!!! I also purchased a 5 year warranty which made sense!!!!! Please give Maurice a day off with pay or a raise/Recognize his work ethics :) GREAT WORK MAURICE!!!!! I WILL BE SHARING WITH MY COWORKERS :) GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. GOD BLESS STAPLES :)

  Their POS system would not recognize the pin for the card I used. Works everywhere else same day same card.

  This store, #9 in Springfield NJ, has to be the most unprofessional and lowest quality service within the Staples network. We needed to get a simple print job of 250 loyalty cards for our business. We placed the order on Sat 8/22/26 and were told that it would be done by 11am 8/23/26. When we called at 1pm to go pickup the job, we were told that it would not be done till 5:30pm which is too late for when we needed the loyalty cards, not to mention the fact that the store closes at 5pm on Sunday which translates to .NOT being able to receive the print till Moday 8/24/26. When we asked for the store manager, she was not in for said day and spoke with manager on duty Dan who went on to yell us they could not do anything but cancell the order and place it with another Staples. In the end, we lost time placing the order, never received the finished product, could not transfer the job to another Staples, now had to wait for a refund and the widow of opportunity for the loyalty program was lost. We gave Staples a 1 star because we believe it's the personnel and there must better quality Staples stores out there. This is not a cumustomer-centric store at all it's more like a "no can do store"!
