I had an extremely frustrating experience at the Roselle Post Office. I dropped off a prepaid package that was going to Texas, and the clerk handed me a receipt for a completely different package going to California with a different tracking number. My actual package never received an acceptance scan and is still showing “USPS Awaiting Item.” When I returned to the post office to explain the situation, the clerk who took (or possibly stole) the package the day before, the minute she saw me, she recognized me, I wonder why. And instead of taking responsibility for the obvious mix-up or trying to help investigate what happened, I was blamed and basically told there was nothing they could do and that I needed to call someone else. This is unacceptable customer service. If a customer hands a package directly to a USPS employee, they should be able to trust that it is properly scanned and that the receipt they are given actually belongs to their package. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of concern and accountability afterward is what made this experience especially disappointing.

Old and Dirty. Needs an upgrade. Employees carrying extremely loud conversations. Very rude and unhelpful. Someone please teach them the essence of courtesy and customer service. They act like as a customer your presence is a burden.
