  The staff in this location is excellent! They work really hard and the line moves quickly most of the time. My only complaint: The self-service machine to buy stamps and ship packages is GONE. You can no longer buy stamps when the main office is closed. 🙁

  Ordered a birthday name banner for my son’s birthday and the sender send it through registered mail which required a signature. The package was delivered on Monday, no one was of course at home to sign for it, the mail carrier left a notice with a wrong tracking number. On Thursday, my husband went to the post office to pick up the package, and the package, which was supposed to be a registered mail, got sent back to the sender in just THREE DAYS (normally registered mail needs to be hold for 14 days before return to the sender). But ridiculously, it happened!! And now the tracking has stopped updating since Friday, and my package may have been lost because of their careless mistake!! And yes, the African American lady on the front desk was very rude to customers! I cannot believe in a superb Plainsboro community we have such irresponsible post office. And given all the negative reviews here, nothing seem to be and won’t be fixed!!! Very sad and frustrating!!!

  The experience with usps plainsboro was horrible . I was tracking a very critical document and I had sent a mail forwarding as had I moved out of plainsboro . The status was shown as mail forwarding and suddenly changed to “mail sent back to sender” . I called the post office and they asked me to come down and collect the document from the post office and when I went their answer was “we don’t know where the mail is “ . Such irresponsible behaviour from the staff and need to mention that it happened three times in total . Neither the paid mail forwarding service worked nor the staff was courteous enough to agree that they were giving wrong info and didn’t handle the mail properly

  The staff here are extremely helpful. A package of mine had been accidentally mailed to the wrong city and zip and some how ended up in Plainsboro rather than Plainfield. After dealing with the extremely complicated usps claims process, I was connected with this location’s manager, Mr. Sweeney, who actually went to the address where my package had been accidentally sent to and recovered it. He then personally took it to the right address. Amazing dedication and helpfulness to satisfy and make sure I was taken care of. Super thankful for people like Mr. Sweeny!
