- KMKatie MarieMay 16, 20221.0This past Saturday, my husband was rushing around buying and leaving baby formula on our porch for me to grab, and within 15 minutes, the mail lady came back and, without having any kind of note or anything on it, took my baby formula. I went outside around 11:15ish and saw it was gone and looked to no avail, scared someone stole my baby's food. I freaked out and ended up calling THIS post office, which delivers my mail, just in case someone saw it and was told they would talk to the mailwoman and then I would get a call back, but I didn't get anything until 20 minutes later with a knock on the door and no one around. There was my baby formula back on the porch again, so I called Pennsville post office again and they told me oh their sorry, the mailwoman took it thinking it was for the food drive going on right now and thats it. I was astonished as someone stole something off my porch and I understand maybe the food drive thing but the bag the formula was in had no note or anything on it saying it was for a food drive. Still, they had no right to take something off someone's porch unless you have a clear indication you can take something. What makes it worse is that I didn't even get a call back or a real apology. They just said "oh we're sorry she's new." and that's not an excuse. No one should be taking anything off someone's porch.

How refreshing it is to just come in and set down my prepaid packages to scan and get a drop off receipt. No more dirty looks as soon as I walk in. No more lectures about the kind of packaging I use or if one tiny spot of tape isnt smooth. Amazing how hundreds if e commerce customers have never once complained about my packages being unsecured upon arrival. No more nasty, curt replies if I have any additional questions. No more witnessing other customers being spoken to in rude, condescending ways as I wait in line. Now the newer staff and the nice lady that recently transferred take my package, circle the survey, and wish me a good day. Going to the post office isnt an ordeal anymore.
