There’s a package mail carrier for Nutley who marks things as ‘out for delivery’ in AM and then ‘failed/returned’ in PM without making a delivery attempt AT ALL and creating problems.
I have something expected for signed deliver Aug 15; it was supposedly ‘attempted delivery’ on Aug 13 but literally my regular mail carrier handed me my mail that day and no package or slip was left at my residence at that time. No attempt on Aug 14. It says it’s being held at Nutley post office. Got to post office this morning Aug 15 and active window worker says it’s not on their shelf there- it must be distribution center in Belleville and I physically can’t even try to access it until Mon Aug 17 as they are closed on weekends…. what?
Whoever is working the counter in Nutley today made it VERY clear he doesn’t know what he’s doing (he said this), he’s just telling me how it goes (aka internet says to pick it up in Nutley and I’m trying that and it’s not there), he works at 5 different places this is not his normal spot (don’t tell that to people lol)… but had his Marvel comics pile set up behind the desk while I was waiting at the window. Oops. Be so for real and don’t waste our time like this it makes you look bad 🤷♀️😒
SHOUT OUT TO BELLEVILLE DISTRO TEAM FOR LOOKING INTO THIS FOR ME WHEN THEY DIDNT HAVE TO 💖👏
Update: I didn’t have to sign for it, it was delivered like this and has water damage. I will be following up for a claim for myself and seller for ruined goods… wtf all around.

Very disappointing experience at this post office. I have had multiple uncomfortable interactions with the same female employee. I have always been polite and respectful and have never done anything to provoke or disrespect her.
What concerns me most is that I have personally watched her be friendly, patient, and helpful with customers immediately before me, but when it becomes my turn, her attitude noticeably changes. She becomes dismissive, impatient, and intimidating, making me feel unwelcome and as if she is trying to rush me out or “put me in my place.”
This has happened more than once, so I no longer believe it was simply a bad day. The repeated difference in treatment has made me seriously concerned that my race, ethnicity, or accent may be a factor. I cannot know her intentions, but no customer should be made to feel this way.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide her name because she was not wearing a visible name badge.
I hope management takes this seriously and looks into the situation. I am not asking for special treatment—I simply expect the same courtesy, patience, and respect that I watched other customers receive.

NUTLEY branch is a nice post office , staff are friendly except for one lady, looks like she is the boss there, she keeps on giving orders to other staff, while the others are doing their job efficiently. Everytime i go there this Lady is so lazy, she moves in a very slow motion, as if she is waiting for christmas, the other counters had already finished dealing with lots of customer while she is taking so long with just one. this is a nice post office but because of her, im giving one star, i wish i could give negative rating. A nice branch but getting bad reputation beacuse of one Lazy employee
