- JHJessica HughesDec 18, 20201.0I have to agree with the review below mine. I am a teacher who has been all virtual since September and I wanted to do something special for my students. I brought packages filled with books to mail to my students and when I walked in and told the lovely woman behind the counter what I had I was looked at in disgust and she seemed to become disgruntled. I’m so sorry- but I would have made it earlier if I wasn’t working all day and if we didn’t get a snow storm the day before. I was very thankful and appreciated the time she took to process the packages and wished her a happy holiday - what did I get in return? A dirty look and the receipt basically thrown at me. Oh here’s the icing on the cake- it was 4:59 (they close at 5pm) when I walked out and they were already locking up. I watched them deny at least three people with packages and cards to send out. I get it- it’s been an insane holiday season with an overload of packages and USPS is completely backed up. However, a bit of kindness can go a long way- there is absolutely no need to be so rude. Luckily there are at least four or so other post offices local to me so I will gladly go to one of those in the future.
