  came into the store to do an amazon return before closing time and they denied me of return despite me being in the store before closing

  I am totally blind from birth, and I went to Staples in Jersey City with my mom who was a senior citizen, seeking my signature stamp to be refilled as far as the ink goes, and to order a new one the young lady we encountered at the front counter in the print shop was very nasty and had an attitude when we asked to have the ink refilled on the stamp. She said the store did not do that when my mom asked how to review and refill the ink. The young lady explained it but then when my mom asked her to re-explain and mind you my mom will be 80 next month. The young lady said I already explained it to you twice with a very terse attitude thank God for Shahid who was human enough to refill my ink once I bought it and he was very kind and also thank God for Amar who directed Share to do this and he was also very kind to me. I hope no one else with a disability or who is elderly has to deal with this young lady with glasses that works at the Staples in Jersey City on Washington Avenue by the print shop counter in the main part when you first come in for Customer Service.

  Came in to do some printing and the gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful. He was patient and helped me through my entire process.

  Cory provided exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond to help me. Given the circumstances and how time-sensitive my printing needs were, he was incredibly understanding, patient, and accommodating. He took the time to make sure everything was handled properly.

  I’m writing this review to recognize an exceptional employee at the Staples near Newport Mall in Jersey City. Her name is Michele, and unfortunately, I didn’t get her last name—but I certainly won’t forget her kindness and the help she has given me. Michele has come through for me on several occasions when I needed help printing documents. On those occasions, others didn’t always take the time to really listen and understand what I needed. Technology and figuring out exactly how something needs to be formatted or printed can sometimes be challenging for me, and Michele has been incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process—not just with me, but with my husband as well. What makes Michele stand out is that she is so humble and low-key. She never makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing her, and she genuinely takes the time to help. She has gone above and beyond for us more than once, and she deserves far more recognition than I can give her in a single review. Michele works in the Print & Marketing Services department at Staples. If you ever need something printed or need assistance, ask for Michele. She is truly a valuable employee, and I sincerely hope Staples recognizes what a gem they have in her. Employees like Michele are the reason customers remember—and appreciate—a business.
