If I could give this location 0 stars, I absolutely would. This is the second time this specific employee has completely crossed the line with me; I let it go the first time simply because I try to respect my elders, but her behavior today was unacceptable.
If you lack a single polite or respectful bone in your body and possess zero patience, you should not be working in customer service there are plenty of other jobs available where a toxic attitude won't impact the public.
Before it was even my turn, it was sad and embarrassing to watch the older woman working here treat the man in front of me with intense frustration just for asking for an explanation. When it was my turn, a sweet, polite younger employee stepped up to help me with a "no label, no box" drop off. The older lady told me I could use the self-service kiosk. I explicitly stated that I did not want to use the self-scanner, preferred to wait for an associate, and remained standing in line as patiently as I had been. I stood completely clear of the kiosk and never once touched it.
Despite this, the elderly lady accused me of scanning my barcode myself and messing with the machine. When her younger coworker scanned my item at the counter, the system flagged the standard alert for a box less drop off. The elderly lady then took over, processed the scan successfully, but used that moment to double down on her lie insisting to my face that the initial system error only happened because I had personally scanned it three times myself, which was completely untrue.
To be subjected to such false accusations, and a blatant lack of integrity is entirely unacceptable. This employee's behavior is a massive liability to the business. Management and corporate need to reevaluate who they have representing the front lines at this location immediately. Thank you to the young girl who actually tried to help, but the other employee has no business dealing with the public. Save yourself the stress and frustration and go to a different UPS location if you can or go to (Woodbridge 10 green st) parking is a little limited and tight, but they have the kindest workers in there.
