"It's the protocol to put packages bigger than mailbox in parcel box." Yeah, but you gave me a not-working 2P key inside my mailbox. Congratulations, I received a broken key, not my package. If the package is too big, then drop it by my front door. Simple logic. So, what, I ordered a goddamn fireplace and you will salvage it in the parcel box and leave the key in my mailbox????????????????? Don't forget to leave a key THAT DOES NOT WORK. Thank you. Appreciate it.

United States Postal Service — a place where time moves… on its own schedule. You walk in thinking it’s a quick in-and-out, and suddenly you’re part of a whole tzibbur waiting situation. There’s always that one line that looks short but somehow takes longer than a full seder. You start off calm, and five minutes later you’re already checking how many people are ahead like it’s a cheshbon. That said, once you get to the counter, things usually move along fine. The staff gets the job done — not rushing, not panicking — just steady. If you come prepared (package taped, label ready), you save yourself a whole extra sugya. The self-service machines are a nice matanah when they’re working. When they are, you feel like you beat the system. When they’re not… you’re back in the oilam. Pro tip: Come off-hours if you can. Otherwise, bring a little savlanus and maybe something to keep you occupied. Bottom line: Not the fastest stop in town, but reliable. You’ll get your package sent — just don’t plan it like a two-minute errand.

Went on 3/19/2026 lady with glasses and pink gloves. Needs to be fired, for not being helpful. She told me the zip code wasn’t right, and I found out the employees can/have to help look up the right zip code. She wastes my time, and also I had to wait 5 minutes to get help from anyone. Like the employees are talking, and laughing. There are people waiting for help, and you’re all goofing off. Worst post office ever, rather go to UPS. Seeing UPS is way more helpful, even helped with the zip code mistake. Never go to a post office again, especially with their prices now!

Clerk #15 according to my receipt charged me for priority mail shipping on both packages and did not offer me ground, insurance, or any other service on them, he just picked the shipping method without asking me which I wanted. He wound up charging me over $20 more than I would have paid for retail ground, which is what I always ship with. As a small business, that's really not okay. And with all sales final, I can't even get my $20 back. Make sure you're assertive with the service you want, or you'll get overcharged. This has never happened to me with the blonde girl clerk there, she always gives me options and is very polite.

Worst post office ever. They don't answer the phone, so if you have a real problem you have to contact a regional office, who calls Howell (they answer the phone for them!), and give you a quick answer and say the postmaster will call you within a half hour. Guess what, they never call. They've lost packages several times. What a horror! Go to Adelphia or Freehold if you have a choice.
