  Absolutely terrible customer service at this Staples. There is **always** a long line, and the service is painfully slow. A lot of the employees seem very young, and unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be much adult supervision or management on the floor. Today, the Amazon return line was extremely long, and instead of helping move things along, employees were having personal conversations with each other while customers waited. At one point, an employee said, “You would think it said Amazon at the front of the store.” What exactly was the point of that comment? Customers were already frustrated about how slowly the line was moving. And trust me, there are alot of people who are NOT happy about the merge with Party City or Amazon return with staples because of the lines! I will say there is **one manager there who is GREAT** and clearly doesn’t play around with the younger employees. I wish I remembered her name because she understands customer service and actually knows how a store is supposed to be run. If I knew her schedule, that would honestly be the only time I’d go to this location! Management needs to do a better job training, hiring and supervising staff. The lack of professionalism and urgency is extremely disappointing. Unfortunately this is the closet staples to me, but I am looking for another location to go to because this staples is absolutely ridiculous.

  I deducted two stars because the store seemed disorganized. The checkout lines were confusing, and associate assistance was lacking. The customer restroom was also unsanitary, with flies on the toilet seats, no soap available, and toilet paper on the floor. On the plus side, I was able to get what i was looking for, just did not have much inventory.

  I like that this Staples is so close to where I live and work. They always have the office supplies and other stuff I need and the staff is friendly.

  I cannot say enough good things about the Staples in Bloomfield, NJ, especially Aliyyah and Jeremiah. After a very frustrating and disappointing experience with the Staples in Union, NJ, the Bloomfield team completely turned the situation around and truly saved the day. I originally placed a small print order with the Union location for fewer than 30 prints. I called shortly after placing the order to ask if there was any possibility it could still be completed the same day, since I was under a tight time constraint. Instead of receiving any real help, options, or basic customer service, I was met with a dismissive response and no effort to look into the order or suggest a solution. At that point, I was stressed, losing time, and unsure what to do. That is when I called the Staples in Bloomfield and spoke with Aliyyah. From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and solution focused. She immediately said she thought they could help and suggested that I come into the store so they could see what could be done, whether through the print center or potentially using the self service machines. Her willingness to listen and offer a practical option already made such a difference. When I arrived at the store, Jeremiah was there and was just as helpful. He was assisting another customer at the printer kiosk, but still came over eager to help. I explained the situation with the order I had placed at the other store, and he immediately reassured me that it was no problem. He handled everything quickly and had my prints completed in less than 15 minutes. Aliyyah and Jeremiah deserve real recognition for the customer service they provided. I was already under a lot of stress because I expected to have my prints earlier in the day and had wasted time trying to get help elsewhere. Even though I came in within an hour or two of closing, they were patient, professional, kind, and willing to find a solution. This is the type of customer service that makes people want to come back. They listened, they helped, and they treated me like a person instead of an inconvenience. I am extremely grateful for how they handled everything. If you need printing services, I highly recommend the Staples in Bloomfield, NJ. Aliyyah and Jeremiah truly saved the day.
