- ABAlex BrittJul 27, 20265.0I went here to get my first passport and I have to say my experience here was excellent. I felt under-prepared coming in and Bernadette made the process as smooth as possible and USPS should be glad that they have employees that are as kind, hard-working and helpful as her.
- AAAnteJul 18, 20261.0Go elsewhere if you need a passport. My wife had an appointment Tuesday the 14th at the Adelphia post office to renew her expired passport. She brought every possible ID to prove her citizenship. The blond hair lady with an eastern European accent that handled my wife’s passport renewal was the rudest person. She kept saying over and over to my wife “ are you listening to me “ it got to the point where my wife had to tell her to stop saying that to her. Not only was this employee rude, she had no idea that my wife’s expired passport which was laying on the counter in plain view could be used as proof of citizenship, instead she’s tells my wife that her original birth certificate vas not valid because her parents name was not on the birth certificate. After the terrible experience, my wife comes home , makes a phone call to the passport agency, they tell her that most certainly the expired passport could be used as proof of citizenship. Instead of returning to the Adelphia post office where this ignorant rude individual is employed, my wife makes an appointment at the Jackson post office where they handled her passport renewal application promptly and professionally. Can you imagine what my 66 year old wife would of had to go through to add her parents name to her original birth certificate if she would’ve listened to this ignorant rude individual at the Adelphia post office.
