Easily the WORST UPS Store location I've ever used. My wife and I travel quite a bit and we use the UPS Store to receive forwarded mail and packages. We've visited well over 50 locations across the eastern US. This location is by far the worst managed location we've ever used. When we are expecting a package, I will send an email to the store location a few days in advance letting them know it's coming. Usually I get a reply within 24 hours confirming. At this store no reply. I called a day ahead of the delivery, which was a couple of cases of oil coming by UPS and some forwarded mail. I spoke with someone at the location, and they assured me they would accept the delivery, and that I had 3 days to pick it up. When my packages were delivered, they accepted the packages with the forwarded mail, but REFUSED the oil! I took an Uber to the location, to pickup what they accepted. When I asked why they refused, I was told that the "Manager refused it because the boxes were too heavy," and "He tried to call you." I always have my phone with me, there was no call, and no missed calls. Now I have to pay for shipping both ways! I picked up my packages. I was expecting 5 but was told there were only three. I took the Uber back, and just as I got in, I got a call from the UPS Store, "Oh, I found your other packages. You will have to come back to pick them up." So, ANOTHER Uber ride. I still had one more package to be delivered the next day, and when it arrived, I called to have an Uber Deliveries driver pick it up and bring it to me. I've done this many times in the past. The clerk said let me check with the manager. "He says no, you have to pick it up." So, another Uber ride to and back. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told he was unavailable. Fine... I'll write a review! Most UPS Stores are very accommodating. There is a $5-$10 fee for each package received and we are happy to pay it. After all they are running a business. It seems that the manager of THIS UPS Store location is just plain lazy. Won't lift boxes, won't make phone calls, won't accommodate reasonable requests.

Late Friday afternoon, I received a call from my financial institution informing me that they needed a notarized document before they could process my case. I had already been waiting for weeks for an update, and this approval was extremely important to me. Time was of the essence. I didn’t have enough time to make it to my bank or town hall before they closed. Normally, I could have waited until Monday, but it was a long holiday weekend, meaning both the banks and town offices would be closed. I was determined to get my documents notarized and mailed that same day so they could arrive by Tuesday or Wednesday instead of losing an entire week because of the holiday. I called countless notary services, but everyone was either closed or unavailable that late on a Friday before a busy summer holiday weekend. After FedEx told me I was out of luck, I decided to try one last place, the UPS Store. That’s when I spoke with Mo. Mo explained that his shift had actually ended over an hour earlier, but he was still at the store because a coworker had been delayed due to a vehicle issue. I explained my situation and how urgent it was. I even offered to pay extra if he could wait for me. My GPS estimated I was only 18 minutes away, and he kindly told me to head over. Unfortunately, I ran into heavy traffic, and what should have been an 18-minute drive turned into nearly 35 minutes. I felt terrible for keeping him waiting, but when I arrived, Mo greeted me with a smile and never once made me feel like I had inconvenienced him. What happened next is something I’ll never forget. As he reviewed my pre-filled documents, he immediately noticed that I had accidentally entered the wrong date of birth and misspelled my middle name small mistakes that could have caused my documents to be rejected and delayed my case even further. He mentioned that he previously worked as a manager at a large financial institution and had extensive experience reviewing documents like these. Without me even asking, Mo told me to email him the paperwork. He went into the back office, corrected the errors, reprinted the documents, and even took the time to explain a few options I had regarding my financial institution that I wasn’t aware of. Once everything was perfect, he notarized the documents for me. When I asked what I owed him for all of the extra time, effort, and professionalism, he refused to charge me. I insisted several times because I knew he had stayed well past his shift just to help a complete stranger, but he politely declined. Needless to say, Mo has earned a customer for life. I have always been a FedEx customer, but after this experience, I’m Team Brown all the way. Mo didn’t just notarize a document—he took a stressful situation, solved problems I didn’t even know I had, and treated me with genuine kindness and compassion. In a world where great customer service seems harder and harder to find, Mo reminded me what exceptional service truly looks like. Thank you, Mo. Your professionalism, integrity, and willingness to go above and beyond are qualities that can’t be taught. UPS is incredibly fortunate to have someone like you representing the company. I have no doubt you will continue to succeed in anything you do.
