- BBBeth BJul 27, 20261.0The vestibule walking in smelled powerfully of old urine. The inside of the store smelled of musty mildew, perhaps also with a touch of urine scent. Or is it the smell of a building that has only been mopped with moldy, two-year-old mop water that has never been changed? However a building gets this foul, it’s due to years of neglect on a managerial level. Don’t blame the front-line workers. Only general management has the authority to chronically neglect a building’s cleaning and maintenance to this chronic and severe of a degree. Anyway, it was a foul experience and I will drive as far as I need to in order to never set foot in here again.

Since they didn’t have the printer that I was looking for I decided to print a form I had in my email which I’ve used their services before and knew how to promptly use. When a lady approached me at 7:55pm to say they would be closing soon. I quickly went to print and this lady I assume is the supervisor approaches me to say I will be escorted out if I don’t leave, mind you it’s 7:59pm. I said ma’am I’m in the middle of printing 4 pages and will be done soon. She says yeah right you stated you only had one page to print. As the printer starts to print it jams she starts yelling at me as if I am an animal saying see step back as this is the only printer we have on and now it’s jammed. She then proceeds to fix it as she’s on the phone explaining how she’s going to refund me. I am a law abiding citizen and have never ever in my life been treated like this and refuse to ever step foot into a Staples. I can’t believe that a company like this would hire unprofessional and unethical staff like this.
