- ALAndrew LongMay 1, 20261.0I had an extremely important delivery that I needed that day. Package was out for delivery. According to the website and tracking said it had been a Newport for over a day. I happened to be in town, so I stopped just to make sure the package had made it on the truck. And if not, I was willing to pick it up right there, you would have thought I was asking for the nuclear codes to the US government. Because just looking up to tracking numbers was apparently asking a lot from the person behind the counter. She checked one said if that one made it the other one did wouldn't take the second number.Sure enough, that second package didn't make the truck, and I could have picked it up while I was in town, but instead I had to wait for the next day and be charged. A penalty for my client.Thanks USPS the consistent 0 customer service or aid policy that has been the hallmark of your service for my entire life continues.

- IIindiMar 17, 20261.0I've always had issues with getting my mail when it comes to Newport USPS, but this past year has been CONSTANT problems. Throwing my $500+ packages in snow banks with no plastic or anything to protect the box from melting snow. Throwing my packages in trucks that aren't in my route and making me wait another day or two for delivery, which seems to only happen when I need that package the day it was supposed to deliver.. I've had to quickly swerve out of the way driving past neighbors because their packages were in the road. And when I call to figure out where my package is, I get met with the rudest people. DO BETTER!!!
- SRShirley RobertsFeb 18, 20261.0The mail carrier doesn't take packages that say return too sender .she comes when she feels like and everytime i call the newport postoffice no one ever answers. I got a notification that may packages are waiting too be delivered and clearly the carrier just doesn't want too get too them. She needs help or a new job. The postmaster called me and guarantee the the carrier would take my package back and return to sender. That was 9am now 1:40 pm she came and gone and my package is still here. Will that's that back too corporate I go 🚶♀️
