The print department here has been so helpful for all of my business and personal needs. I tell everyone I know to get their printed materials done at this Staples in particular. I know I'm going to get no-nonsense, quality, and efficient service here. I've come with multiple problems and questions, and the team there has always been quick to address my concerns, find a solution, and get me the best price. SUPER job!

Man. Came in here today to pick up prints. They were not a due until 5 but swung by to see if they were ready. Gwen behind the counter was chatting with her buddy and on the phone when I came in. When I asked to get my copies (50) she said they were in the queue but jobs were ahead of me. Okay. But no printer is on. I could use this self service printer and be out of here. Left without my copies and told they would be ready later. Gwen said she didn’t care as she was going back to her teaching job and it didn’t matter. This flier is for a soup kitchen for unhoused. Shame Okay. It’s been 3 hours now. Still no call for completion of 50 fliers. To emphasize, there were zero print jobs printing they were working when I was in the store. When I left. Gwen stated “ have the day you deserve”. And now I am sure I am in staples spite circle. Truly unprofessional. Reading the other reviews I can’t believe the owner has not fired the entire management team. And malicious compliance. The staff had them prepped at 1729. Fine. Great business. We couldn’t hang flyers up for a soup kitchen for unhoused folks because of the staff’s unprofessionalism and pettiness.

I wasn’t going to leave a review about this but a recent turn of events has me feeling spicy. I use this Staples to do a lot of Amazon drop offs because I live close by. One employee in particular seems to have a big issue doing any sort of Amazon returns, a younger gentleman with glasses and a beard. Every time I have to interact with him, it’s unpleasant and annoying. However, I understand working for a corporate giant is kind of a bummer so I’ve let his rancid attitude slide. Not long ago, I had to return a bike kickstand. I went in to the store and went to the Amazon counter with the kickstand still in its original box. Another customer, who was purchasing items, made her way to the checkout a few seconds after I had gotten to the drop off counter. The bearded gentleman was working and he was at the service desk on the other side of the store and appeared to be on the phone. He saw both of us and said “I’ll be right there!” Okay, no big deal, I’m not in a hurry. He finishes his task and comes over but starts gathering the other customer’s items to get her cashed out. She looks at me funny because she saw me standing there first. But I don’t say anything because, again, I’m not in a hurry and maybe there’s a policy about cashing out actual customers first instead of Amazon drop offs. The other customer, however, does actually say something, to the effect of “she was there first”. The bearded gentleman turns exasperatedly towards me and rushes through my return. I don’t say much because I can see how angry he is that I even exist and the other customer looks pretty miffed too, even though she wasn’t the one slighted. I guess he finishes the return but he immediately turns back to cashing her out, without saying anything to me. Unsure as to if the return is completed, I hesitated instead of walking away. This man has the spinal column to then turn to me and snap “you’re all set”. So I left and chalked it up to being mad about working for a huge corporation. Fast forward to today and I get an email from Amazon saying that the refund for the bike kickstand wasn’t able to be processed and my card was going to be recharged. I contacted Amazon support and they told me that they had received an EMPTY BOX for that return. So I can only assume that the bearded employee had some hand in this strange happening, due to his diabolical attitude in the store. I now have to fill out an incident report for Amazon to try to get my money back. I have worked for a lot of corporations in my life and am lucky enough now to own one myself. While I understand a boring retail job might make you a bit miserable, that doesn’t justify taking your anger out on me or any other customer that doesn’t rightly deserve it. I do my best every day to not cause an inconvenience for the people around me and I expect that that low bar will at least be met by others. Do better.
