  Celia at the front counter started off pleasant, but when I voiced concerns regarding an unusual failed delivery, her attitude took a complete 180 and she became very disrespectful towards me and began to speak to me as if I’m an idiot. When the question asking how the experience was popped up on the pinpad screen, she was QUICK to reach around the computer to click the green smiley face button. I pointed out that I would like to make my own selection on the screen, and she was immediately upset about it. I believe she needs coaching at minimum regarding how to treat customers, and I truly hope she doesn’t act this way towards other people, but this doesn’t look like it’s her first rodeo. I am so glad I’m leaving Nebraska today because I dread the idea of ever having to do business with the Beatrice Post Office ever again.

  I usually receive very kind and professional service at this location, and I truly appreciate that. However, today I had a small uncomfortable moment. I went in twice; the first time went well, but when I returned a few minutes later, the employee made a slight gesture with her mouth of being tired or annoyed when she saw me coming back. Since I use a translator, I preferred to ask if the other clerk could help me, but she said no, so I chose to just take my papers and leave. I just wish there was a bit more patience when we have to come back or use a translator, but overall the service here is normally good.

  Our Post Office is very nice and clean, service is usually top notch. And complaints are handled quickly

  I currently moved to this town. I called the post master to ask if I could move my mail box from the street up closer to the house. Multiple reason: 1 so when people walk on the side walk they fo not have to walk around. I live by a retirement center and plenty walk with canes by my house. 2 the box is not cemented into the sidewalk so with the high winds it falls over. 3 I will not drill into the sidewalk to create further issues with the sidewalk. 4 there are 3 houses on my block that have it on the curb but then 95% of my area have it up by the house or on the house. I talked to to the post master and she said that the whole town should be on the curb. She also said once someone moves then the mailbox goes to the curb. There have been 2 families move into the are down the block and no mailbox to the curb. She was rude and had no customer service to help. USPS has lost my business for when I can control it and will not be getting any recommendations. Terrible service!
