- JHJill HollidayMay 10, 20231.0I had a very urgent item for work that had to be mailed out today and the post office near my work closed @4:30… I RUSHED all the way from Hildebran to Valdese when I saw that they closed @5…I ran up to the front door and at 4:59pm they locked the door and wouldn’t help me. I understand companies have scheduled closing times for a reason BUT THE US MAIL, hmmm, I thought they’d be a tiny bit accommodating (making 1-2 mins past closing tops).
