⭐ 1 STAR — Consistently Terrible Customer Service
If I could give this post office zero stars, I would.
I have been to the Tobaccoville Post Office multiple times, and unfortunately, I have repeatedly had the same unacceptable experience with one particular female employee. I do not know her name, but she is consistently rude, dismissive, disrespectful, and completely unwilling to provide basic customer service.
This is not a situation where someone simply had a bad day. This has happened to me multiple times.
I have been turned away from making a simple package drop-off because it was approximately 10 minutes before closing. Rather than assisting me with a quick transaction, I was essentially treated as though I was an inconvenience. There have been other occasions where she has simply refused to help.
My most recent visit was absolutely ridiculous. I walked in with ONE package to drop off. That’s it. It should have taken less than a minute. She did not acknowledge me, greet me, or even indicate that she would be with me shortly. Instead, she continued an excessively long interaction with another customer while completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there waiting.
I am standing there with a package in my hand wondering if and when she is ever going to acknowledge me.
Basic customer service is not complicated: acknowledge the customer, treat people respectfully, and do your job. I don’t expect special treatment—I expect the same basic courtesy that any paying customer should receive.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this behavior is consistently coming from the same employee. Every time I encounter her, there is some new issue. I have reached the point where I actively dread going to this location because I know there is a good chance I will be ignored, treated disrespectfully, or told that my simple transaction cannot be completed.
I strongly encourage USPS management to look into the customer service at this location and specifically address the repeated complaints and behavior involving this employee. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome or as though they are a burden for simply walking into a public post office and expecting to receive service.
This location needs serious improvement when it comes to customer service and accountability.

The Worst Post Office (Tobaccoville)!! Let my chickens sit at their post office all day, lied about calling me, and once they called me 15 minutes before their office closed... only two were alive out of 35!! The Worst People!! The Worst Service!! I don't even want to give them one star. They do not deserve it!!
