Post office in swannanoa needs to employ ppl who are nice and considerate if your a person that doesn't like ppl then ur in the wrong profession. - LCL CApr 13, 20212.0Don't get a PO Box here. Nice staff that seem to care, but the organization is lacking. Twice my packages have been misplaced. Once, it was placed in a wrong PO Box several months ago, the person working there located it and got it to me right away. The second time, I have a package that was reported as 'arrived at post office' on the tracking. It was never marked as delivered but I was sure that if I went to the counter and asked for my package it would be right there. Unfortunately, nobody was able to find it. I went back the next day, and waited 15 minutes at the counter while they scrambled to find it. They finally sent me away saying they'll let me know when/if they find it. I don't have much confidence in the USPS as I have had issues with lost packages in the past that never got resolved. This experience certainly didn't help.
- SSSamMar 2, 20215.0Super helpful staff! I came in today, 3/2/21 and the woman upfront around 1pm was so sweet. I mistakenly had missed a number on my package so it was sent to the wrong house. I was distraught because it was a gift for someone and I needed it before I left town. The folks at the Swannanoa post office went and got my package from the house it was delivered to and brought it to me within an hour! I am so thankful to have such dedicated employees working at our local USPS. And to the woman who helped me (I wish I got your name) thank you so much!
