- AAAnonymousAug 26, 20262.0Usually we have terrific postal carriers that drive to the house and drop off the packages on the porch because that's the job. However, I think they need to hire more people because we keep getting really expensive packages balancing on our mailbox right next to a 4-ft deep ditch. And if the wind blows that thing into the ditch, we won't know it came. Or if one of the teenage kids in the neighborhood decides to be a teenager and take my packages. I guess I'm Sol because they didn't hire enough people at the United States postal service in Southport North Carolina.
- GHGreer HomesAug 7, 20261.0The absolute worst people to deal with! I’ve had multiple packages missing a they claim to not be able to find them. It’s not hard to put someone’s damn package in the mailbox or at the door. No wonder they can’t make a decent pay because they suck
- LWL WestJul 27, 20261.0Have never read so many negative reviews yet they’re obviously warranted. This is like the Bermuda Triangle of USPS offices. When my packages wind up being shipped through Fayetteville into Southport PO, they have on multiple occasions been shipped out to another post office, eventually wind up in Greensboro, then travel off to the Fayetteville PO circuit before making its way back to SP and Oak Island. Have also gone in-person for address changes and a man who worked there at the time (Feb. ‘24) made no effort to hide his disdain for filling out and assisting us with forms and address changes. Avoid this place when possible.
- KSKyla ShankJun 12, 20261.0Probably the rudest service I’ve had in a while. As a new homeowner I was disappointed that this will be the service I’m receiving. A lady leaving said she’d been here 28 years and the attitude and service had gone dramatically downhill in the last 3-4 years. Don’t bother trying to get a packaged delivered they’ll send it back to the sender and then it’s your fault the driver didn’t deliver it. Choose any other service if at all possible and don’t waste your time in the post office as they are just rude. Hated that Amazon chose USPS this time and will not be using them in the future.
