- JPJenny ParrishAug 12, 20265.0If I was able to give 10 stars I would. To make a long story as short as humanly possible. I mailed an item Priority Mail from Smithfield PO headed to Raleigh. Over the course of 7 days it went from Smithfield to Greensboro to Raleigh, then it was returned to me. Excuses were given as to why it wasn't delivered, which at the point it was returned didn't even matter. Raleigh PO tried to say that it was refused, returned to sender, the person had moved and there was no forwarding address; none of which were true. The carrier in Raleigh never attempted delivery. The evening of 8/11/26 I drove to Raleigh after work to hand deliver it myself. At this point I was out of the mailing costs, drive time back and forth, fuel. Upon arriving at the destination there was a mail receptacle in plain sight, that wasn't the issue. The individual hadn't moved, that wasn't the issue. The Smithfield Postmaster refused to refund the costs of shipping, yet my local Postmaster is refunding the costs of shipping. The Selma Postmaster is the most helpful individuals I've had the pleasure to speak with in a very long time. He always, always tries to do the right thing by postal customers. In short, this was a sale item that was shipped; therefore this could have been costly for me regarding an error I didn't create (nor did the Selma Postmaster). People who still use the post office should have the confidence that their items will be delivered, and if they aren't a helpful person to work with. THANK YOU and you are much appreciated.

She operates with incredible precision, speed, and genuine care—she double-checked my shipping label to ensure complete accuracy, made sure my package was secured to top standards, and clearly explained the best delivery options so it would arrive safely and on time. She balances high efficiency with authentic warmth in a way you rarely see anymore. Kiah is the gold standard of customer service, and UPS is lucky to have her representing their brand!
