There should be 3 or 4 people working at the counter every afternoon, instead of the 1 or 2. Seems pretty commonsense and as easy fix.

- CAC AAug 4, 20261.0Absolutely unacceptable service. My passport appointment was canceled the same day because the only employee who processes passports wasn’t available. That is not the customer’s problem, and a simple “sorry” (by the supervisor) doesn’t make up for the inconvenience, wasted time, and poor planning. Management needs to train more than one person to process passport applications. Relying on a single employee for an essential service is irresponsible and shows a complete lack of preparation. Customers schedule these appointments around work, family, and other commitments, and canceling at the last minute because no one else is trained is unacceptable. If your office offers passport services, you should have properly trained staff available to provide them. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend coming here for passport services until they address this issue, SANFORD NC.
