When we moved in and installed our box, we were told that the mail carrier would not drive more than. 5 miles from the road to deliver a package. We are. 3 miles from the road. This lazy person WILL NOT drive. 3 miles to deliver a package. We both work and cannot get to the post office during their open hours, which is what the notice she leaves says to go pick it up. My question, why am I paying for delivery to my home when I have to go pick it up? And what about the famous post office motto?? Last time this happened it was a box of medical supplies for my elderly mother that took over a week longer to receive due to her not delivering. VERY aggravated.
