- WMWilliam MooreFeb 5, 20261.0I had a very poor experience with the SECU Operations Center due to a misrepresented loan estimate. I was provided and signed a Loan Estimate stating I qualified for 75% LTV based on an AVM, and I relied on that information to pursue another property, enter a purchase contract, and pay for inspections. Weeks later, I was informed by the Operations Center that the loan terms shown in the original Loan Estimate were incorrect and that the financing was never actually available. By the time this was clarified, I had already incurred approximately $2,000 in out-of-pocket losses. While I understand loan terms can change, providing materially inaccurate disclosures and correcting them only after consumers incur real financial harm reflects a breakdown in operational controls. No reimbursement or resolution was offered for the losses caused by this error.
