  Awful experience. When I walk in the post office it seems I get ptsd everytime from all my horrible past dealings with this place. The last time I was in I tried ship a small package abroad and had to step in and out of line 4 times because every time I went back to the counter had to fill out another form. In the end did not even send the package because the cost was absurd. Total cost to send 132$ for a small package with about 35$ worth of gifts. It was a small flat rate box. For a few more dollars could have flown it there myself.

  I notice that the reviews have gotten consistently worse during the past couple of years. This is heartbreaking. My experience here in the past year has been so hurtful that I haven't gone back. I plan to try again today, out of necessity, and will enter with hope. Our world has changed in the past two years....Maybe we can meet it halfway with tolerance and hope and respect.

  I want to give 5 stars to postal carrier Brandon, postal clerk Kimberly, supervisor Joanna and staff member (not sure her position) for their outstanding work yesterday in getting a very important package delivered. It was close to closing time but all these wonderful USPS workers took their time and made great effort to have the package delivered that day. I needed the package as it contained a gift for a student that I was meeting with that evening for dinner. The carrier made sure as he was contacted around 4:30 to come back and get the delivery done. A day later wouldn’t have worked so I want to commend all these fine folks for their performance yesterday. Keep up the good work-I love you USPS!! And this particular USPS in Seaside/Ocean Isle Beach NC 28469👍😊

  Super long lines and the lady with long blond ish hair has super long talks with customers. We all know how old her mom is and family stuff with a customer. She's nice but when the line is out the door...she needs to be more professional

  Well they check all the boxes? Rude, long lines, unorganized, etc I don’t think when you have one person working the counter she should have to run all over the place looking for something or spend 15 minutes explaining why they can’t forward their mail to a friend? At other locations, Anytime I have had a problem I was always told to step aside and someone else would help me I’m sure that in the multiple people who are sorting mail at least one is capable of handling issues and helping out by locating the lost packages.
