- JUJen UAug 11, 20235.0Best. Post Office. Ever. I have lived in many places in the United States, and now I live in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. The Oak Ridge post office hardly ever has a line, the people that work there are so friendly and cool. They assist you with any questions that you may have, and they are friendly and efficient. They don’t slow everything down just to be friendly. They can do both at the same time. One added perk for me is that there is an after hours depository inside the building that is open 24 hours. So even after they have closed and pulled down the actual gate to the counters, you can still put your pre-addressed and posted small packages inside the large bin that they have inside. My husband and I truly never stop talking about how much we love this post office, and how much we love Oak Ridge.
