- HRHaley RabiuMay 11, 20264.0We recently moved to the area in a new build, so our mail hasn’t come for the last 10 days while we wait for the post office to get our address in the system. I recently had a DHL delivery that when through USPS’ distribution system and wound up in the post office across town where it was sent out for delivery but ended with the last update being ‘No Access’ and no further updates. I went to the post office it was last seen at and explained the situation, and within a few minutes they were able to find my package! So thankful that the supervisor listened to my concerns and was able to help me receive my package that should have been shipped to our new address. Hopefully we can get our address added to the system soon to avoid another situation like this.

The mail service out of this post office is the worst I have ever had in my life, and I lived in both NYC and on Long Island (some of the busiest zip codes in the country). Our carrier will drive by the mailbox if there is a car parked within 30 feet on wither side! Some days our entire cul de sac gets no delivery at all - and it could be a sunny day with 72 degrees. Packages are rammed into mailboxes - crushing the contents - rather than being out on the porch. Often the mail reeks of cigarette smoke, as the carrier openly smokes in the vehicle. I once had a statement that said a paid priority package was delivered when in fact it was at the post office. Some of the ladies are nice, and one is highly efficient, but the whole place looks disorganized and dirty. It needs a full review and restructuring of personnel.
