- TTTeresaMay 17, 20241.0I cannot understand why this post office has not reopened. I have to drive to Hookerton to mail bills or get stamps. Why is Kinston such an inconvenient place to live? This post office is a vital service, yet it is taking forever to reopen. There should be more competition for mail services so they can't treat potential customers any old way. All you do is drive, drive, drive to accomplish routine tasks. Typical of Kinston, the height of inconvenience.
