This was my first time visiting this post office, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
I came in to return two small packages, one for Amazon and one for SHEIN. From the moment I got to the counter, the employee had a negative attitude. When I asked a simple question about which QR code to scan first, she rolled her eyes instead of giving a clear answer. She simply pointed the scanner at me without explaining what she wanted me to do, which was confusing since I had never returned packages there before.
Because I wasn’t given clear instructions, I accidentally showed the wrong QR code. Instead of calmly helping me figure it out, the employee became visibly irritated. She asked what I was returning, and when the code didn’t match what was on her screen, she slammed an item down on the counter and aggressively turned her computer monitor toward me to show that it was “something different.” I pointed out that the wrong QR code had probably been scanned, showed the correct one, and everything worked immediately.
The entire interaction felt unnecessarily hostile. As someone visiting for the first time, I expected basic courtesy and patience, especially over a simple mistake that was quickly resolved. To top it off, I was given a very fake, passive-aggressive “Have a great day” at the end.
Everyone can have a stressful day, but customers shouldn’t be made to feel like they’re an inconvenience for asking questions or making an honest mistake. I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. I hope customer service at this location improves because first impressions matter.
