Standing in a long line to return an Amazon purchase. Sales associate waits on a few, then has to go to another register to take care of retail customers. This visit took me approx 30 mins of standing and waiting. Need more sales associates to help customers.

Staples is a reliable place to shop for office supplies, technology, printing services, and everyday business needs. The store offers a wide selection of products, making it easy to find everything from paper and ink to electronics, furniture, and school supplies. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and they are willing to assist customers with questions or help finding the right products. The printing and service options are also convenient for both personal and business needs. The store is clean, organized, and easy to navigate. Prices can be competitive, especially when taking advantage of sales and promotions, and the variety of products available makes it a convenient one stop shop. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that service speed, product availability, and overall customer experience can sometimes vary. A little more consistency would make Staples an even better shopping experience. Overall, Staples is a solid choice for office supplies, technology, and professional services. Good selection, helpful employees, and convenient services make it a store I would recommend.

I would like to say the 2 gentleman working tonight were amazing and super nice. The reason for my poor rating is that why at 7pm, which is 2 hours from closing, is there only 2 people working. I’ve read from other reviews they’re short staffed but you should figure out how to get people to work the whole time you’re opened. Do better to whoever is running this store. I see the same guy who i’m assuming is the manager everytime I go in for Amazon returns running around like he’s over it. Feel so bad for him, he needs a break!

This is an email I had to send today after my experience with this store. One employee was stellar, the others not so much. "To Whom It May Concern, I was a customer today at the Staples on Western Blvd, Jacksonville NC today at approximately 1pm and my service was very poor. I went in and immediately stopped at the printing area because I had a shipping label I paid for in advanced. The woman at the counter was helping a woman and her mother with wedding invitations and how they desire them to look. I waited for several minutes and was not acknowledged until a person appeared behind me. I stated I was picking up a shipping label and once I received it I asked was this the area to send off packages. Seeing my laptop in hand, the woman at the printing area explained that yes it was, but it made it a point to say more than once that they don't pack the products for us and told me what aisle to get boxes. I was quickly dismissed to continue to helping the mother and daughter pair. As I went to get boxes, I realized none of them have dimensions to appropriately package a laptop, but I found the smallest one, and got in the Amazon return line because I was still confused about the process. By this point, two older women have left the front to go on break. One making a point to say she may or may not be back in thirty minutes. This left only one employee to handle the checkout and Amazon returns, and the woman in printing. The woman doing Amazon returns [found out from other reviews her name is Charity] was very helpful to me finding the right box and taping it, despite juggling multiple tasks and being backed up for checkout because she had no help. As I waited for her assistance, I noticed in the printing area other customers were handled quickly and dismissively as the wedding invitations seemed to take the priority. I understand that weddings are a lifetime event and it's critical that the invitations are formatted correctly. However, the stark difference in the care everyone around these people received in comparison was egregious. Eventually, I realized the arrangement of the store and where I should actually be since the woman who pointed me towards the boxes at printing was initially so unhelpful. When I went back over to see if the top of the box could be taped, the woman was then working at the computer without customers and refused to acknowledge me until I acknowledged her. I was in her line of vision, she was facing me. There is no possible way I wasn't visible. Only then, did she take the box and walk me through the process. My first concern is that the store was severely understaffed for the volume of customers present. I understand that everyone is entitled to a break and there are laws about how long a person is working before they get one. But they have to be scheduled where it isn't at the expense of the workflow of the store. The second is the customer service. The dark haired woman who was working Amazon returns and checkouts was a rockstar and my heart goes out to her. She handled triple to volume of customers than anyone else I witnessed during my time there. However, the woman in printing with light brown hair isn't overtly rude, but is very clear in having a pick of who she deems worthy her time and assistance. I almost left in the middle of the visit. If there's a camera, I can visibly be seen stopping to research other UPS dropoffs nearby and if it's worth it. I ultimately decided to endure the hassle today, but understand I will choose wiser tomorrow. This is why brick and mortar stores are dying. Please educate staff that when they choose to work with the public, they don't get to cherry pick the people they'd rather interact with for the duration of their shift."
