  couldnt leave a package at my front door and they didnt bother to leave a notice so i drove to two different post offices to find out where my package would be. they constantly misdeliver and lose important mail. this place needs to be shut down.

  My package shipped from London to Ukraine then became lost once it arrived in Durham NC imagine that. I had to physically go to the location to retrieve my package that had been listed out for delivery since 9:30 AM Friday. If it wasn’t for an extremely kind employee of a different location I’d still be waiting for N Miami BLVD location to deliver my package. She went to the N Miami location personally to find my package. This lady deserves a praise unfortunately I didn’t get her name.This location is the pits of Hell staff are rude and disrespectful when the issue is their fault treat the customers awful hoping they don’t come back. Nope not me I took names and I’ve filed a complaint and won’t stop there. Ms. Adams doesn’t deserve her job; Ruth whisper a so you can hear her insults. The rest of the staff out front staff no better George and the employee who returned from vacation today are awful. The horrible attitude is clearly from the top down. Hopefully my inspector general complaint gets traction I won’t stop until we have better customer service from the location.

  I completed forgot to write my experience with the Durham Post office. I forgot what the woman and gentleman's names were. I wanted to share a very positive experience I had with the Durham Post Office earlier this year. In February, I mailed an Etsy gift to my friend’s daughter in another town in North Carolina. Unfortunately, I accidentally used her correct street address but put “Durham, NC” and our zip code instead of her actual city and zip code. I didn’t realize the mistake until I received an Etsy notification that the package was out for delivery in Durham. Since the street didn’t exist in Durham, I knew there would be a problem. I first called the USPS 800 number, and they directed me to contact the local post office. I was pleasantly surprised that someone actually answered the phone at the Durham Post Office, and the woman I spoke with was extremely kind and helpful. She looked for the package, found it, and even set it aside for pickup. I had mailed two packages, and only one had been recovered at first. A few days later, on Saturday, I received another delivery notification. I called again and eventually reached a gentleman at the post office. Although he couldn’t locate the second package right away, he took down my information and personally called me back later that afternoon with an update. He asked me to call again on Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. When I called Tuesday, I spoke with the same helpful woman, and she was able to locate the second package as well. My husband picked it up the following day. I know people are quick to post complaints, but I wanted to recognize the excellent customer service I received from the Durham Post Office employees who helped me. Both employees were friendly, patient, and genuinely willing to help solve the problem. Their kindness and effort were truly appreciated.
