  I will be filing a BBB complaint today. I have called no less than 6 times and today will be my 7th and have gotten the run around each time. You received my claim on June 28th and I was told it wasn't even looked at until July 22 and a supervisor would call me. A supervisor never called. On July 24 when I called I was originally told it had to go to finance for further review and later told it was approved and will be deposited into my account that day. Now it is the 27th and the money is not in my account. I pay for this service and a month after the claim I have nothing. Your company has not called me once with any concerns and all contact has been initiated by me. How do you justify treating clients like this.

  If I could give negative stars I would. I have had an account here for 15 years and never once actually spoke with a person. Very unresponsive. My money did not grow. And by not growing, meaning less than 5%. The annual rates of return for the S&P 500 are 10-12%. And I'm locked in with an employer. Cutting my losses and taking the penalties and going to another company. Please do not use! You're better off managing your own finances by learning off of YouTube and TikTok. :(

  Avoid Equitable Life – A Disgraceful Experience After 50+ Years I would never, ever use Equitable Life again. My family has had a policy with them for over 50 years, originally sold to us by a representative who assured us it would be fully paid off. Years later, Equitable quietly forced him into early retirement after it became clear he had made similar promises to many others — promises the company now claims were false. Instead of honoring the original terms or taking accountability, Equitable informed us that we’re responsible for continuing payments — and not just regular payments, but ever-increasing amounts with no warning. The policy doesn’t disclose that premiums will rise annually. We only find out after being hit with multiple unexplained fees and a demand for three months’ payment in advance. When we call for clarification, no one can explain the charges. Worse, Equitable tells us it’s our responsibility to call them every year to find out how much more they’ll be charging — as if notifying policyholders of increases isn’t a basic duty. This company is deceptive, disorganized, and utterly lacking in integrity. I strongly urge anyone considering Equitable to stay away. There are far better, more honest life insurance providers out there.

  If I could give this company 0 stars I would. It’s more of a scam than anything else. They don’t even have a working phone number, we’ve been trying to cancel our policy for months and haven’t been able to do so. Stay far away from this place.
