  This has been my go to UPS place ever since they opened up! I have a lot of family all over the place, Florida, LA, Boone, NYC, Savannah, etc. and so I ship stuff all the time for birthdays and everything. Extremely helpful people who work here, I haven’t had a bad experience yet! Highly highly recommend if you need to ship anything, they’ve helped with so much. Plus, knowing how sweet the owners are, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else to go!

  The UPS Store always provides amazing service! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful every time I visit. They make the shipping and return process quick and easy, and they are always willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great customer service.

  These folks normally do a great job and are usually very friendly. However, I witnessed a conversation between an employee and a customer that disturbed me. The customer received a package from Costco and was shipping it on to a relative. The UPS store refused the package unless it was sent in one of their boxes. The customer had a perfectly good box as demonstrated by Costco having used it to mail the item to him, but UPS was so interested in upselling $$ they said our driver (who I personally know) would refuse it. I don't believe that is true for our driver, or the claim that the box was inadequate. They also tried to upsell insurance and signature required. I am actually ashamed of the store and their actions with the customer in question. They should be ashamed.

  There’s an unmistakable hostility from the staff at this location...I’ve repeatedly been left standing at the counter waiting to be acknowledged while employees acted visibly annoyed that a customer needed help. The atmosphere here feels less like customer service and more like customers are being tolerated. One employee in particular (older blonde with leathery skin) consistently comes across as openly dismissive and irritated by anyone walking through the door. At this point, I avoid this location whenever possible.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but the treatment I’ve received here over the years at the Meadowmont UPS store (510 Meadowmont Village Cir, Chapel Hill, NC 27517)has been consistently demeaning. Staff members often seem irritated, impatient, and unwilling to help. One employee (Julian?) mocked me while handling my divorce paperwork and another interaction recently (as in within the last few months) felt intentionally dismissive and unhelpful. Customer service does not seem to be a priority here. Big big avoid. ---- To clarify after the owner’s response: the employee who mocked me while handling my divorce paperwork was working at THIS location (510 Meadowmont Village Cir, Chapel Hill, NC 27517) at the time. I mentioned that experience because it was memorable for all the wrong reasons, and unfortunately it was not an isolated incident. My experiences at the Meadowmont store have consistently felt cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily unpleasant. Staff often come across as irritated, impatient, and unwilling to help beyond the bare minimum. Instead of meaningfully addressing the broader complaint about customer service, the response focused on asking for the review to be removed because it “negatively impacts” the store. I think that speaks for itself.
