The store is well stocked (it is Back to School season so it helps that they were ready for all teachers and students to get their supplies. The sale prices were very good.

When I first arrived I saw 3 employees chatting about their schedules, no acknowledgment of me as I was standing there to pickup balloons from their Party City section (I had placed an order online). I had to get their attention and one of them asked me to go to cashier for help with balloons, I go there and she tells me they don’t have the balloons I picked out, so I can choose new ones , I pick out new ones and go to check out with same cashier. She than tells me if I can come back an in hour as they are very busy. It was 6 ballon’s to blow up and I ask her why such a long time, she again reiterates they are very busy. Again, the same 3 employees that I saw standing when I got there are still in the same area just talking about their schedules. At that point I said nevermind and left. I came to Michael’s to get balloons and it literally took 10 minutes to get 8 balloons.

I was very disappointed with the customer service I received on July 25, 2026, and because of this experience, I will not be returning to this Staples location. I stopped by to get a few Minnie Mouse birthday items for my daughter’s first birthday celebration. While I was there, I asked if they could put air in her number “1” balloon. I was shocked when I was told it would cost $10.00 to inflate it. I didn’t even pay $10.00 for the balloon itself, so that price seemed completely unreasonable. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling like customer service was not a priority. I left disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I hope Staples will reconsider its pricing and focus on providing a better experience for customers.

I love this store. Our family counts on it for everything from graduation cards to great stuff for work. Today, I was checking out and the cashier, Eve, was extremely patient and helpful. Highly recommend her and this particular store.
