- MKMark KlauderJun 29, 20262.0Placed an order with Amazon expected delivery on Sunday and their status reported: Delivery attempted, but mailbox was full. Burnsville, NC Went to check the mailbox and it was empty. Intended it was my fault for not keeping my box empty. Had to go in and pick it up as it had not arrived by 2:30 Monday. I will say though the staff at the post office desk are very pleasant.

Claiming needing an access code or no safe delivery when a code is not needed and a tote is placed at the mailboxes that they have placed packages in before. Before when we had a regular driver for our route if the packages wouldn't fit in the box or the tote she would bring it up to the house and leave it on the front porch if no one was home. You can't call because you never get a person its all automated and it doesn't connect you to anyone either. Sends you a link through text then hangs up

I go in, its not there..i give them the tracking number and they say they cant use it making me think what I ordered was a scam. I get home its in my mailbox, they decided to put it out for delivery vs keeping it at the post office but cpuldnt confirm anything while there. But, at least while I was there they had another package for me that I thought was lost and requested a refund on from a couple weeks ago because the tracking number said delivered but I never got it and the tracking number never said it was at the post office. They had it at the post office this whole time and had never given me a notice to pick up a package at the post office? How many packages of people do they have and not give notice? I wonder lol. I like my mailman that comes to the house, but theres some improvements needed in processing pakages and communication with residents. Ive never had this happen anywhere ive lived across the country. Kind of bizarre. Also lived here for almost 5 years, and this is the first time stuff like this is happening. Wonder if its new management or some new workers?? Anyway, if you have a package for a resident at the post office versus mailbox or putting it on their porch, please for the love of God, communicate by leaving a notice in the mailbox. Do they not do that anymore? I dont get it.
