  I have been coming to this Staples for YEARS specifically to process my Amazon returns, basically ever since Staples began accepting them and then also shopping after I do my returns. Before that, I had to drive all the way to Greensboro. I do not live close to this location as it is, so I specifically make the trip when I have returns that need to be completed. Apparently, this location has now decided to limit customers to 10 Amazon returns at a time. The employees actually ask how many returns you have before they will even begin processing them. I explained that I do not live nearby and had made the trip specifically to complete my returns, but that made no difference. The manager stated that one time a singular customer came in with over 100 returns. And I said, well that seems like it’s a one time issue and maybe doesn’t call for a broad spectrum approach as this is entering into bad customer service. What makes this even more frustrating is that the store was DEAD and is always empty whenever I go. I was literally the only customer in the store while approximately four employees were standing around talking about online gaming. This was not a situation where there was a long line of customers waiting or my returns were preventing employees from assisting other customers. I purchase the majority of my household products through Amazon Subscribe & Save, and I also purchase clothing online, sometimes ordering multiple sizes to determine what fits and returning what doesn’t for myself and my kids. Having more than 10 returns at once is therefore not unusual for me to do once a month. I contacted Amazon directly after this happened and was specifically told that Amazon does NOT impose a 10 return limit and that I should not have been told this. They also emailed me the full return policy to present to Staples the next time I go. I was also told the closest alternative location available to me for this return method is more than an hour away or I would have to pay for a UPS pick up from my home. This particular Staples location has independently decided to impose its own 10 return limit. I believe that needs to be clearly disclosed to customers before they make the trip as I know many of us live far. It is incredibly frustrating to drive out of your way to a store that advertises Amazon returns, walk into an essentially empty store with multiple employees standing around, and then be told they simply will not process your returns because you have more than an arbitrary number. I left today with two unprocessed returns that I was facing no refund for because I was about to be past the return date, and sat on the phone with Amazon over an hour trying to figure out how to get fixed. They ended up refunding me the money in full THANKFULLY. After years of using this location for Amazon returns without an issue, this was extremely disappointing and a huge inconvenience. I will now no longer be shopping here because I won’t have any free hands since I’ll be walking around with unprocessed returns. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

  Easy to get in and out for Amazon returns. I still go back for specifics just because they have things you can't really get easily at other shops. I really appreciate the layout of the store as it makes it easier to find what you're looking for with ease.

  Very pleased with the service I received as I was shipping a large box to Michigan for my grandbabies and was rather nervous. They helped me calm myself, gave step by step instructions and help reassured me all would be fine. It was so appreciated!!
