  I had an appointment on 6/17 @ 11:30 for my 17.5 year old son and me to get passports at the Angier post office. The man at the counter when we arrived was abrupt and curt, his approach made me immediately uncomfortable. I heard someone refer to him as Fred. He rudely went through what we needed. I felt as if I was being scolded and I had done nothing wrong, and I had brought everything we needed. He said my son's father needed to be present because he was a minor. I questioned this and repeated to the man that he is 17, not under 16. He said it didn't matter, his dad needed to be there and he abruptly said "that transaction can't be completed, let's move on." I proceeded with my application. During that time, my son's dad messaged me that he could be there in 20-30 min. I asked the man if that was ok, and he said no, I needed to go online and reschedule, and he made a comment to me about that transaction is over and you need to focus on yours. Again, the curtness was so strange. After finishing my application and leaving, I stopped by the Fuquay-Varina post office to inquire about walk-in passport hours. I informed the pleasant, nice lady at the counter of my earlier situation and she said because he is 17, his father isn't required to be present. I returned a few hours later to the FV post office and processed my son's passport application without his dad being there. A complete different experience at the FV post office than Angier. The people were friendly and helpful in FV. It has bothered me for days how rude the man in Angier was to me. It was as if he had a personal problem with me. It was weird behavior in front of my teenage son. I am also disappointed that I should have been able to complete both transactions during the same appointment.

  I love this post office. I've literally never had to wait more than 5 minutes, and they are super friendly. Shout out to Andrew in particular, he's cool.

  Extremely rude for no reason, I thought it was just an off day for the worker there but it seems like others deal with the same issue.

  Each visit I have made has been a hassle and a headache. The staff have been extremely rude and one of the managers argued with us extremely unprofessionally. We scheduled an appointment time for our passport, showed up on time for our appointment, just to be told sorry the person we had doing passports today called out sick. Left us in a difficult predicament. Also, the staff do not answer phone calls. I currently have a package that says delivered at front porch 3 days ago that has never showed up. This is a USPS location to avoid at all costs. Would give 0 stars if possible.

  One of the worst service, and staff doesn't care and doesn't understand the needs of the customers . very rude and I feel the staff needs to be changed. we recently faced an issue with our passport application and was not delivered the right information and because of which we are still waiting for our passport application to be updated. please avoid this usps in Angier,NC if you would need a better and guaranteed services.
