    Top 2% WMT Preferred Reviewer

My review is a clone of all the one stars in this thread of reviews, culminating in me losing approximately $500 in projected income this week. I've tried to explain to an employee that indeed the USPS database pings Walmart when the local post office "yellow cards" the item, it's the final step in delivery. I was told by a Red Lodge employee "No, we (USPS database) do not communicate with Walmart, I have phones shoved in my face all day long," to "copy my USPS tracking number and go to the USPS webpage for my shipping information" I politely tried to explain again and was told USPS data is not connected to Walmart. Well you're wrong and this is the 3rd time, the first time on my 3rd trip to pick up a package, they said "oh yeah" went in the back and got it. As a preferred compensated reviewer I get paid by the item review after delivery, when they "yellow card" the delivery I then can get paid. I spent 35 minutes on a call with a human at USPS Consumer Affairs and 10 min with our local Postmaster, who asked "for a chance to make it right." I would take back the review you asked me to give if possible and if I could get the same USPS Consumer Affairs lady on the phone again I would. If I hated my job and the involved interactions that much I'd seek another environment. Here's a pic of a "yellow card" ping instantly as it happens. I've got 161,000 review views for Walmart and 101,000 review views for Google. I tried to help you guys, I've lived here 18 years and Holly is one of my best friends, and this makes me sad and enlightened. This pic is an email, it is the only correct communication other than arrival in Red Lodge time, the in between app updates platform doesn't understand that FedEx and UPS are not doing their contracted job, but dumping it on the RL Post office, the final "yellow card" scan is true and correct. I put red Xs through the misleading or incorrect app updates. Only an email is the correct information, other than arrival in Red Lodge time is also correct. You can see in pic 3 & 4 that my package physically arrived in Red Lodge Friday at 11:02 a.m., It's Saturday morning right now at 7:07 a.m. and this package has been sitting at the Red Lodge Post Office in a bin, in the back of the building for approximately 20 hours, just sitting there, not "yellow carded" yet. I'm unable to do my paid job as a reviewer because, the only obvious criteria is my business model and my job don't matter, bottom line. (Excuse the formatting, the gaps in text are the beginning of new paragraphs, not tabbed correctly by the Google platform, it's always something)

Yet another useless government organization. Should be defunded and shut-down. Don't bother trying to get any service here.

This might be the worst post office in the state of Montana. They have a constant attitude of “not my problem.” I once got chewed out for going to the counter 4 minutes before their lunch break because they have a break at 12:30 and “people should know that!” We were done by 12:28. Another time, someone had shipped me a package, it made it part way across the country and got stuck in another city. The employee refused to help me in any way and kept saying the sender’s fault, despite being able to see it was hung up in their system. They close at 4:30, before most people get off work, they take an hour lunch and completely shut the whole place down from 12:30-1:00, rather than taking lunch in shifts, making it nearly impossible to get your packages without taking time off work. And when they screw up they have a habit of trying to make you feel like it’s your fault. Terrible, but they don’t care because what are you going to do about it? At a time when USPS is struggling to stay afloat, you’d think they would be bending over backwards to help people. Instead, these folks treat you like dirt and have an attitude of “not my problem.”
