The problem is this country loses billions a year on Postal Service and the reaction is to pull services from rural areas - not the cities. Simple town cost to benefit ratio designates the federal government should be providing more funding to us. They are not. If you take funding amounts to cities (per capita) and compare it to us you’d be amazed. Reason being no one here complains because we are reasonable people. I’m telling you to complain because our city has grown substantially in the past 10 years and funding has not followed. We don’t need to wait 30 minutes to get a package.

The person working today had just come from the back with packages for someone ahead of me, but when I asked, she didn't have time to go look. As I was walking out a gentleman after me was also asking for packages and she was going to go look for him. Update: My husband was in town, so stopped to check, and the same thing happened. The lady ahead of him received a package, and although she had plenty of time to visit with her, when his turn came, she was too busy to go look. So today, despite a notice saying they tried to deliver the package, they could only find one. This is so sad. Worst PO anywhere.
