Has to be one of the worst offices I've been to. Always have to wait at least half an hour just to mail a package. They sure take a long time to complete transactions as well. And why only 1 person working? They need to just shut down all of them and let UPS and FedEx handle it

Eric must have been having a bad day. Extremely unpleasant and attempting to enforce rules that don’t exist. I had to pull up rules for him and his co - worker did also.

Quick and easy stop for a 53’ van. Easy in and out, no hassle getting positioned. Staff are respectful and professional, and the whole load/unload takes just 15 to 20 minutes. Smooth, efficient, and zero runaround. Highly recommend for any driver passing through.

By far the WORST port office in the entire U.S. I travel and for my business ship across the U.S. from wherever I am at. This post office has the most incompetent, greedy, insane postal workers I've ever encountered. This isn't a one time thing. It is EVERY time! Not a single person in the post office treats letters 3 ounces and under in the same or even half way consistent way. They will reject and return to sender any letter they simply don't like and call it non-machinable. This means it doesn't ever go to the recipient and only potentially goes back to the sender in 6-8 months. Others charge the same letter as a package and demand it is $6 and more to ship. Ok, so they mark everything as "non-machinable" I decided to go to the counter and purchase additional postage for "non-machinable" (even though no other post office in the U.S. marks these envelopes as non-machinable). Three different days and I get 3 different responses on what "must be done" for the letter to be sent. They all agreed that it was weird that their own employees won't give a consistent answer. They literally just make up whatever rules they want on the spot. One says you need to add a non machjnable surcharge, the next says you need to add $1.27 on the $1.32 you already paid because she will return to sender claiming it is a flat and not a non-machinable item. The next employee charged about $6 for each item claiming they MUST be sent as a package or they will pull it and return to sender. All the same post office, all the exact same items packaged in the same envelope the same exact way. Oh and they also said, even though I did EXACTLY what they individually said at the counter and paid their insane up charges that the letter could still be returned to sender if the next employee who saw them felt they didn't like how they were postaged. Insane!!! I will no longer EVER vacation in Missoula as I can't have my business destroyed because of the vast incompetence here at this post office.
