- KHKala HensleyJun 17, 20262.0Came here to complete my change of address in person, as after I completed the request online it said I needed to be seen for identity verification in person. The guy looked at my ID, said I’m good to go, took less than 1 minute. Weeks later, no mail at my new place. Submitted another request online, again, in person ID verification needed. This time I went to the post office at 215 1st Ave N. The lady was so nice. She scanned my ID, told me I should get a confirmation email, and that mail forwarding happens pretty quickly. Went to my car, and there was the confirmation email. I never got one the first time when I came to this post office location, so I guess the guy didn’t actually process anything. I have a lot of empathy for govt workers because I am one, too, but come on man.
