Horrible experience. I’ve had long running problems with this office but today finally made me write a review to speak on it.
Today I went in to ask if I can pick up a package that I’m certain is there & I was snapped at by the old lady behind the desk with her exact words of “we don’t do that!” Well that is odd bc I’ve picked up packages at UPS that didn’t make it to the delivery truck. When I lived in other places, I have picked up packages that didn’t make it out for delivery. If the package isn’t there, that is fine, but a more helpful interaction without the hostility would be preferable over an old grouch snapping at me with an aggressively rude disposition.
She then told me it is absolutely required for me to have a 3849 form before I can pick up a package. Aside from her aggressive rudeness, a problem is that I know it is not always required.
Per USPS policy: Form 3849: It is helpful (but not always required) to bring the "We ReDeliver for You" form (PS Form 3849) left by the carrier.
I know they are behind, and am fairly certain they have my package even tho they said they don’t. They told me if they had my package it would be on the truck. She didn’t bother to help or even check the system to see if my package was there, but I know that wouldn’t help anyway because they don’t scan packages in as “arrived” until minutes before they go out for delivery, that way in the system it seems as tho they are fast & on time with getting mail out, even tho they have had the mail piece for days, it will show up as if they got the mail out even after it had only just arrived to them minutes before the delivery driver goes out for delivery. LIKE MAGIC!! 😂
I seriously can’t wait until I move, bc as with everything in Carroll County Mississippi, nothing will change, nothing will be repaired (especially the roads/highways), & nothing will be done how it should be.
