- KFKyle FarmerJul 24, 20261.0Have a simple change-of-address service I for whatever reason needed to go in person for. Unfriendly lady behind the counter takes my passport, scans the barcode, and asks for a second form of identification. I explain I only have the passport and my driver's license on me, she nods and clicks through on her side, and tells me I am all set. Get home and I received an email that the post office could not verify my identity because I did not have that second form of identification. Not only is this entire process ridiculous in the first place, but the employee should have notified me it would not work without the secondary ID instead of leading me to believe I was all good. A truly awful post office experience, go elsewhere if you can.
