  Extremely Disappointing Experience with UPS in Shakopee! I am extremely disappointed with UPS and their terrible customer service. I shipped my package on September 1st and paid $145. The tracking number working but all we could see was “package on the way” and despite calling UPS countless times throughout September, nobody could tell me where my package was. Walked back into several UPS stores, all they could tell me was “We are just a store, we don’t deal with packages, we just deal with shipping them and that’s it.” Today, October 9th, I discovered that the package was sitting at the UPS store and had been returned! No one had contacted me about it being there. To make matters worse, they are asking me to pay another $145 to ship it again. Nobody contacted me or the recipient to inform us of the situation. Now I am expected to pay twice because of a service that failed me. $145 is not a small amount of money! Customers deserve communication, accountability, and proper customer service. UPS needs to investigate this situation and do better. Someone needs to take responsibility because this experience has been absolutely unacceptable. I honestly wish I had read the reviews before choosing UPS. I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

  Said it cost $2 to tape the box shut for a return or told me to buy my own tape.

  This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The cashier was extremely rude, unprofessional, and acted like he didn’t want to do his job. Instead of being helpful, he had a bad attitude from the moment I walked in and made me feel like I was bothering him. Customer service should be respectful and welcoming, especially at a business that deals with people all day. I will not be coming back to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they improve their staff’s attitude and professionalism.

  I called them countless times and they either put me on hold or simply refused to help me every time I called. I finally called a different UPS store and they helped me kindly and respectfully in less than 5 minutes.

  Definitely terrible customer service, every time I’ve been there and it’s the closest to my house so it’s been numerous! Only got two stars because it got the job done, but other than that, I’d rather deal with robots!
