Avoid using USPS for any shipping. Carriers do not pay attention to your mail or packages. $180 in lost pet meds cant get a supervisor to speak with, let alone care. Carriers are not held accountable let alone take their jobs seriously. Sad times we live in now days. No clue where the carrier placed this package. I will NOT use the post office for anything anymore. If more people feel this way the future of the post office is very scary. UPS or FEDEX all the way atleast they care.

The website says that the self service kiosk is open until 11:00 PM, but they actually just close at the posted regular business hours and didn’t bother to notify anyone aside from a sign that you don’t see until you drive/walk there

This is regarding postal supervisor L. Lancaster who works out of the main downtown Minneapolis post office and regarding their excuses for poor customer service, excuses made for employees at 55402 Lasalle Ave branch and lack of customer service and support regarding my issues at 55402 Lasalle Ave branch. Here is my Google review posted regarding that branch:
Rudest and most inadequate and inappropriate customer service received at Minneapolis MN 55402 downtown post office by older Asian male who gave his name as Ken even though his name tag said Van when I requested his name and name of older skinny black woman at 225 pm on April 24, 2026. He would not give me his name or the name of black woman working and when i asked her for her name, she did not give, but ran in back room. These 2 employees are definitely overpaid and under worked for the service and lies they give.
I tried completing change of address online and post office online says my address of over 3 years is not valid. I live in a 40 unit apartment building and post office only lists apartments 101 to 112 as valid addresses. Online post office directed me to local brick and mortar post office to complete address change. The 2 employees at 55402 post office after i completed change of address form stated that it was an invalid address, even after i showed them mail with the address i wanted to change. They told me they couldn't change it and told me to try the main post office or 1 800 customer service number. I asked to speak to the branch manager or supervisor since thier information in computer was wrong and the tod me there was no manager or supervisor at that location. I had to repeatedly ask for manager and phone number from Van for 55402 location, 1800 customer service and for main post office. He gave me 3 incorrect phone numbers for the locations. I had to look up phone number online at home to call post office to file complaints and i still did not get any answers or resolutions on my change of address
The US Post Office is one of two of the biggest jokes, embarrassments, and money losers in the US. I can see why people have abandoned them due their belligerent, condescending attitudes and customer service.
