Since their introduction to the industry, push-back pallet rack systems have become one of the most popular choices amongst those looking to simultaneously improve storage density and warehouse productivity. Push-back systems are gravity-driven, featuring a set of up to six nested carts that pallets are placed on. When a pallet is loaded, the pallet that was at the front of the pick position is pushed pack, and when a pallet is pulled, the pallets behind it slide forward. This innovative system allows the optimization of warehouse space by offering a superior blend of density and selectivity.

Drive-in storage systems offer the highest density of any of our pallet rack systems, and do so by eliminating aisles. By eliminating these aisles, drive-in systems, which are operate in a FILO sequence, sacrifice a certain amount of selectivity. Because of this, drive-in systems are ideal for those warehouses with a high volume of product, but few SKU's. If your warehouse fits this description, you may stand to benefit from the installation of a drive-in system - in fact, drive-in pallet racking can increase your storage by up to 60%. Drive-in rack systems are also commonly referred to as "drive-through high density storage."

Cantilever racks present a solution for those materials that are otherwise unable to be stored in rack systems, such as steel, lumber, and piping. Gravity flow systems are FIFO, meaning pallets that are loaded in first are the first pallets to be picked at the other side of the rack. Like drive-in pallet rack systems, gravity flow systems improve storage density by minimizing the number of aisles in a given warehouse, holding up to 20 pallets per position. Gravity flow systems are commonly found in such applications as food and beverage, medical, frozen foods, automotive, and distribution. These rack systems are customizable to each each warehouse, require minimum maintenance, and are highly reliable.

Carton flow rack systems are specifically designed for operations that require high volume order picking and reduced operator activity. Carton flow racks are gravity-driven FIFO systems, and are used by loading cartons onto one side, allowing them to travel a short distance over steel rollers, and picking them at a given position on the other side of the rack system. Carton flow rack systems are akin to pallet flow systems, but for individual cartons instead of entire pallets. This type of system can also be readily used for conveyor picking.
