Service like that is the reason USPS is a drain on our society. Amazon is making the right move privatizing their logistics network.

I was recently out with Covid and they helped set things up so I could have someone pick up my mail for me. I called and the staff even recognized me and gathered all my mail and packages for the person whom I asked to pick up my mail. My only ask would be for more hours outside the normal work day, but I do not believe this is within their control that I am aware of.
