  Do not recommend at all. We had little to no communication all the way up until our closing. Same day still had no information on the closing. I had to have my bank dig for what closing documents would be required as the title company did not provide them. After closing, we now found out there is a septic and well, it was listed it did not have one. Also found out the property was listed at 21 acres. After closing have now found out through the county and surveyor its less. The title company did not catch any of this. When I addressed it, they called and made excuses, I had to explain that was their job to make sure everything was clean, accurate and clear to properly transfer the property/title. They then placed blame saying the previously closing 4 years ago did not catch any of it either. Very negligent. We tried using them to accommodate the agent selling the property and trusted they were good. Unfortunately, we will never be using First American Title Insurance Company again.

  The closing was handled efficiently with all paperwork complete and ready to be processed. I received a check a closing but then discovered I needed a wire transfer instead, I went back a few days later and they handled the conversion seamlessly, giving me a complete explanation of how the funds would be transferred, literally overnight.

  Sindy and her team are always fantastic to work with! They're on top of everything for clients through every closing and ensure everything is on track. Communication is always open, and they're quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend them when needing a title company that goes above and beyond.
