- TET EAug 10, 20261.0Had the displeasure of dealing with Amy today. I was going to use the kiosk to ship two packages, but that wasn't working so I wnet to stand in line. When it was my turn I set the boxes down and explained I needed them shipped. Amy tells me I have to write the To and From name/address on blank labels. I assumed it was so she could enter it. I wrote them doen on one label each and got back in line. Amy then proceeds start talking to me like I'm a child and informs me that I did it wrong. She wanted the To and From on seperate labels. When I had the audacity to question her on that and ask why I can't just verbally give the name and address, she proceeds to be very rude and tells me it's their 'policy' and that she can go get the Postmaster. She then keeps pressing my buttons and eventually says that I don't have to ship with them. So I thought to myself, OK, they don't want my business. I said a few choice words as I left. (If you are reading this Amy, repeat those words to yourself.) I went to UPS to ship, shared my experience with the very nice worker who took the names and addresses verbally with no issue. She said that they hear that a lot and get customers because of that. On my way out there was a lady with some packages so I held the door for her. She asked me if I was the person at the Post Office. I said yes. She said that when I left Amy went to talk to her supervisor about me. She also said that Amy was egging me on. She didn't want to ship with USPS after seeing the interaction. I thanked her for the info. I did call to file a complaint and spoke with Johnathan who was nice and listened. He said he'd talk to her. I doubt Amy will care or change her attitude. She's lucky she has a Govt job, she should be fired. Having an employee like that is just bad for business.
