Today a middle aged woman “helped” us, and she seemed intent on being as rude as possible from the moment we walked in—barking at us to stand in the correct location, telling us that we should have closed the envelopes we had just picked up to use for mailing, berating us for not having taped the prepaid labels to said envelopes we had just picked up (there was no tape available to do that, so I suppose we were supposed to buy the envelopes and then take them home rather than mailing the items while in the post office…??). There were very few people in the post office, no rush, and literally no reason to be so nasty. I always thank customer service people because I very much appreciate their work and effort, but in this case I left without saying a word. 😢
